PURPOSE OF ADVISORY BOARD Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Advisory Board is not a decisions making authority, rather to providing current finanical advisory knowledge and trends, introducing board members to critical thinking and analysis to increase the confidence of the decision-makers who represent Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club. Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Advisory Board is a structured and collaborative method for Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Organization to engage with external business advisors. Advisory Boards Members provide the corporate board with positive advise towarrd directors, managerial leadership or shareholders information. Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Advisory Board provides practice principles to allow administrative members in the organization towards strategic thinking and access expertise or connective enterprise advise. Advisory Board Members Duties, include voting for qualified board members.

Volunteering with Bainbridge Island, Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club is a unique opportunity. Volunteers can work with veterans and youth groups, participate in all events, attend specialized lectures and tours. You'll work with men and women who share a common interest in learning, studying, and teaching our Bainbridge Island Naval Radio Station History as well as preserving the Nation's Naval Radio. Volunteers also gain access to the Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club library, books, manuscripts, charts, historical records, artifacts, and memorabilia. There are a variety of volunteer opportunities available including lecturer, librarian, historical researcher, restoration specialist, maintenance, electronic technician, clerical support, or stationed tour guide.
