Field Day stresses emergency auxiliary radio preparedness for entire Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Emergency Operators to get involved with International, national regional, statewide and local emergency management services by assembling a remote emergency radio operators station in: field, shelters, urban setting, recreational area, specialized vehicles such as automobiles, PV Railcars, aircraft or office planned training exercises.
Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Auxiliary Radio Field Day is a working relations with public safety emergency management services used to attract significant publicity for public emergency management services awareness, leadership organizations and emergency auxiliary radio operators, to simultaneously demonstrate technologies including single sideband voice, Morse code, digital modes, such as RTTY, PSK31, and Winlink, among others communication via antenna and satellite connectivity.
