Upon request by authorized emergency management authorities and governmental agencies involved in emergency response, under Code of Federal Regulations\CFR Title 47, part 97, Subpart E, Section 97.407,the designated RACES/Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club Emergency Radio communications/EMC" Members or active radio EMC Operators will report to the EOC and activate the required emergency radio networks using the frequencies necesary to achieve the emergency radio communication response. In the event that Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club "Emergency Radio communications/EMC" Members or active radio EMC Operators not residing within the immediate area to offered emergency radio communications assistance, they will contact the EOC on the previously established frequencies for assignment and dispatch. At the cessation of the emergency, authorized officials initiate roll call from the EOC using any one or more of the previously established frequencies. Island Tower "Emergency Radio communications/EMC" Members or active radio EMC Operators will then acknowledge and confirm receipt of termination message. Fort Ward Amateur Radio Club "Emergency Radio communications/EMC" Members or active radio EMC Operators, will return to operational readiness-standby, by active sky/space frequency monitoring for emergency communications for help, testing radio communication operational readiness-standby radio-links with other members and RACES. |
