Dear Live Steam Operators,
An invitation to attend the Rail Line Community National Train Day Celebration May 5, 2012.
In order to give your Steam Operation time to organze for this event and offer prospective passenger the opportunity to purchase ticket to the Specific Rail Line COmmunity Celebrations.
Include the opportunity to Exhibit Your Train to attending train day public, to give attention to your year round services and travel/tour opportunities.
Seattle National Train Day Planning Committee also must prepare for your visiting exhibit, so that your operation requirement can be coordinated, along with Seattle King Street International Station detraining, (limited track space).
Visiting Exhibits are planned for Alaskan Way Waterfront and Main Street in Pioneer Square, which is the main exhibition center for Tracked Exhibits, is also limited space. Visit: Http://www.atdlines.com/ntd-sea.htm
Also Operating Rail Services (Amtrak, Union Pacific and Burlington Northern Santa Fe) must also prepare for your scheduled arrival and departure. Including Seattle Department of Transportation and other security/public safety for your public exhibit display. Also will offer RESERVATION LINK.
Visiting Trains Exhibits will also be judged for: roll-by at rail line communities & stations, cleaniness, operation standards, and other criteria to compete for:
Blue Ribbon Awards "Live Steam Outstanding Performance".

Seattle National Train Day 2011 "CITY OF DESTINATIONS" Description: Washington State Train Day Foundation (Non-Profit) under leadership of American Train Destination Lines and Other Railway Organizations, Associations, Societies, Museums, Railway Services, Operating Railways and Exhibits/Displays will mark National Train Day Seattle 2011.
Event will be held between King Street Station "Pioneer Square, Union Station "International District" and Alaskan Way "Waterfront District".
There will be tables in King Street Union Station to serve Amtrak Passengers, a tables at Union Station and near the west end of the Weller St. Pedestrian Bridge for Sounders Commuter Train Services, Sound Transit Link Light Rail Stadium Station Tables, Stadium Exhibition Center Tables and Street Fair Tents. Including Tracked Exhibits and Railway Displays.
There will be: Golden Pike Photographic Contest, Iron Rail 5k Race, Iron Wheels Bike Race, Tug Boat Race, Street Fair, Carnival Rides, Musicians, Culture & Arts, Entertainment, Food & Beverage Concessions, Local Tour Services and Much More Fun For Whole Family.
Seattle National Train Day 2011 will also coordinate with other Seattle activities: Sounders Game, Maritime Festival, Benaroya Hall Concert, McCaw Hall, Moore Theatre and much more.
