April 1, 2022 BBC Meeting During the BBC Open Discussion, Louis Alloin, spoke on the need to organize a Council Of Government/COG Steering Committee, to study a passenger only ferry service between Bainbridge Island and Bremerton, to be part of Bainbridge Island Transportation Plan, to provide Island Communities with Balance Transportation System, to mitigate the current dependance on a monolithic fossil fuel highway only transportation structures, with no alternatives. Current COG Steering Committee Studies are to investigate, feasibility of Fast Ferry Routes Services Between: A). Currently the Winslow Ferry Dock, is operated by Washington State Ferry Service Between Bainbridge/Seattle. B). Fort Ward Dock, is current on Kitsap Fast Ferry Route between Seattle/Bremerton. C). Point White Dock, is currently on Kitsap Fast Ferry Route between Seattle/Bremerton, Washington State LOUIS ALLOIN SUBMITTED PLAN FOR POINT WHITE FERRY SERVICE The Point White Dock is located within Crystal Springs, Bainbridge Island Community, is currently on Kitsap Fast Ferry Route between Seattle/Bremerton, Washington State, on Puget Sound between Riches Passage, Port Orchard Passage and Sinclair Inlet water ways, the proposed Fast Ferry is to be scheduled passenger only dock services. 1). Point White Ferry Dock Access Service, is to be provided by Lynwood Community Kitsap Transit Park and Ride Shuttle Service. Bremertom Fast Ferry Tickets, for Bainbridge Island are exact fare box or ORCA Card upon board the Kitsap Transit Shuttle Service. 2). No Point White Fast Ferry Dock Ticket Booth, nor ticket sales. Ticket are sold only at Lynwood Park and Ride, at boarding of Kitsap Transit Shuttle, where a Fast Ferry Boarding Pass is issued upon fare box payment. 3). Point White Dock is to be restored, to it Crystal Springs Community Historical Heritage Passenger Ferry Operational Status. With Exceptions 4). Point White Ferry Service Property is to be kept within Crystal Springs Community Historical Heritage Passenger Ferry Operational Status. Meaning kept as a Crystal Springs Community, Bainbridge Island Parks and Recreational Park Standards and environmentally protected. 5). Point White Ferry Service Property Prohibited: Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry Bremerton and Seattle Ticket Office will issue Point White Ferry Destination Passenger with appropriate ticketing practices, in accordance with Kitsap Transit Bainbridge Island Shuttle Ticketing Operations.
