Friends of the 261 has created a memorable, five night and four day journey to the “Big Sky Country” of Montana's "Rocky Mountains" for your travel pleasure and sightseeing enjoyment aboard two private luxury railcars. Join the rail line community experience and journey to be long-remembered for its accommodations to the “Glacier National Park Gateway” , "Flathead Valley" and Whitefish, Montana's, Historical Train Station.



The "Minnesota River" and "Lamberts Point" cars will be positioned on “Empire Builder Transcontinental Route Completed on January 6, 1893 at Scenic, Washington ” while travels across the plains and mountains of western United State. Inaugurated in 1929, the “Empire Builder” has been in continuous operation under the auspices of the Great Northern Railway, Burlington Northern Santa Fe and Amtrak since its inception this transcontinental route is considered one of America’s scenic and historic railway's.

Friends of the 261 private luxury railcars are fully restored:

    NOTE #1d: Cancellations made prior of 30 days from departure will receive a refund of 50%, Cancellations made 30 days or less to date of departure will receive no refund unless space can be resold.
