Seattle, Washington, BNSF Spoke person John Karl, Economic Development Director, stated that "7th Ave Holgate yard has high volume traffic and can not handle any additional traffic" and refused to provide any alternatives to ATD LINES request for Coach Yard services over BNSF Network System.
ATD LINES Railway News Services interviewed a Trudy Mezen for MacMillan Piper, the primary company using the 7th Ave Holgate Yard. Trudy stated, that "BNSF has been neglecting the company by refusing to provide efficent services, losing railcar (MP Staff had to search BNSF property to find lost railcars) and over charging the company because BNSF refused to provide services. Trudy also state, that MP, was very upset at BNSF-NRPC forced relocation to Massachusetts Street Facility and offensive BNSF business practices.
ATD LINES Railway News Services also interviewed Kevin for Stone Path Logistics, a company that shares the 7th Ave Holgate Yard. Kevin stated that Stone Path Logistic has not utilized "on-site" rail services for many years and does not have any interest in 7th Ave Holgate Yard. Kevin stated that "BNSF has allowed homeless persons to live on the tracks for the past year or so and uses the yard for storage of material , as there is very little rail traffic.
Last year BNSF John Karl, was very coperatives and willing to assist and provide economic development services to ATD LINES to locate the Railway Business Car services in Seattle, now all Washington State trackage, yards and operations are at perk traffic level and unable to provide additional services, which ATD LINES has found to be lacking equitable business policy justification.
