Mayor Lewis, has organized city employees to take a standing position against ATD LINES Railway Business Car Services, Coach Yard Development and railway business industry improvement for rail line communities in Washington State.
Mayor Lewis , has instructed and encourage city council members and city employees not to respond or discuss railway improvements or business programs for Railway Business Car Services and other pending railway issues. Refusing to acknowledge ATD LINES Policies and attempting to subject company officer's to unfair treatment policy practices and providing no public safety for ATD LINES Officer's while doing business in Auburn.
Auburn Mayor and councilmembers, have objected to "Federal Railway Administration Operation Life Saver Programs" and any photographic journalism to identify public safety problems or issues related to improving railroad safety and economic development for Auburn street improvement project, along with other economic business development programs.
Gus Melonas, spokes person for BNSF, as stated, that the situation is difficult, and BNSF is not encouraging the city of Auburn to be defensive against Railway Business Car Services or Lake Washington Short Lines Development.
Richard Russack BNSF, has stated, that the issue concern Auburn is a Western Division Office Concern, but realizes the ATD LINES Project potential and has referred communications to Jerry Johnson, for Short Line Development.
